Throw Some Santas on the Bar-b

"SYDNEY (AFP) - Santas in Australia's largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas's traditional "ho ho ho" greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday."

Can political correctness get any more cheesy than this?

What would possess human beings to pick so closely at a societal scab as to deliberately search out the minutia that makes up such stupid restrictions?

Fond memories of jolly Santas chuckling a deep Ho Ho Ho live in the minds of all who celebrate the Santa Claus aspect of the Christmas holidays.  Besides the bright red suit, the twinkling eyes and the snowy beard we find that lovely and comforting refrain of Ho Ho Ho.

Yes, take yet another expression from us....NOT!

Whether it's Australia or any other country, lets leave the ridiculous back in the stone age and move forward.

Let's try hard to embrace the idea that eliminating words and expressions, one by one, isn't going to make anything better, until people decide to stop offensive behavior.

Yes, refrain from racist or demeaning or insulting expressions. However, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not willing to sacrifice any more words to the Cheesy Over-PC denizen.

My Santa will say Ho Ho Ho for as long as I celebrate the season of Christmas.

HO HO HO ... and Merry Christmas!
